This adapter converts your old parallel printer to work on a USB port. Requires a USB cable Type A to Type B (not included)

Install instructions:

  1. Remove all old printer drivers.
  2. Shut down computer and turn off power to printer.  Unplug the existing printer cable from the printer.
  3. Attach the adapter to the end of your USB cable (not included) and plug the USB cable into your computer.  Do not attach the adapter to the printer yet.
  4. Turn on computer and let the operating system identify the adapter.
  5. Plug the adapter into your printer and turn on the power to your printer. Let windows find the driver and install it for your printer.

Note: You will need to download the latest driver for your printer (from manufacturer site) if windows does not automatically find the printer driver for your printer.
